Hope all ok over there and that its not too cold. Its been about 33 here every day and Ive yet to see a cloud and the sea is really warm and clear. Have taken some photos and may try to post later in the week

They Think Its All Over
Thank god after yet another poor performance McClaren has finally been sacked. England failed to pick up the 1 point we required after being given a lifeline by Israel at the weekend. The only thing saving a depressing Wednesday night was all the hard work Keane put in preparing a fantastic chilli dog meal. Oh and the booze!! Its was such a big night Lou even put the heating on. Brada throws England a life line

It seems the conspiracy talks that Israel may have taken a back hander from a certain Mr Ambramovich have been thrown out the window when Brada broke the off side trap in injury time that threw England a life line to Euro 2008.
Wednesday's game is no longer meaningless and expectations of qualifying may warm our hearts enough to brave the cold at Lew's. With Wednesday's game being the make or break for Euro qualification hopefully Lewis will dust the cobwebs from his wallet and stick 50p in the meter to give us warmth which we desperately require as winter is setting in.

Arctic Expedition Awaits
Batten down the hatches, order your thermals and try to prepare yourselves for the worst as next Wednesday evening we are heading down to the freezing south.....of Basingstoke. Yes thats it, we are heading down to Black Dam and Lew's house for the final Euro qualifier. It could all be a meaningless game as the damage could have already been done by the Russians in Israel at the weekend.
But fear not, we will boldly go and face our demons and endure the sub zero temperatures that await. It we are lucky we could also have some heartburn inducing food to help us survive the evening intact.

Amazing New Pose
We have had reports coming in from the Kennel Club that Lew's dogs have invented a new pose unseen in this country before. Its called the Mutts Prayer and is somthing to do with a quest for food and heat. We will have a picture after our next visit especially as the weather has turned colder

PIZZA Magic
No surprises in the football this week with Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool all getting through to the next round of the Carling cup. This is the silverware they will all be focusing this season as Man U will pick up the rest of the trophies. Lou performed some magic with the food transforming some relatively boring £1 ASDA pizzas with the help of some Chillies, onions and a few tomatoes. Even the cheese hating Darren was seen tucking in. Champions League next week. Will we see some tears from the Liverpool boys if their team does not manage to get a win and Liverpool are effectively out of the competition. We will have to wait until next week to find out.

Super Besiktas
Another night watching the tedious Liverpool stumble to another defeat. It seems like we've been with them all the way for their recent Champions League disasterous campaign. Talk last night was of Benitez being fired - remember you heard it here first !!
Sad Benitez looking for inspiration
I would just like to confirm the Lidl lasagne was much cheaper than Brin guessed - they were pratically giving it away which instantly alerted Lew to the possibilities.
Turkey Shoot
There was an air of sadness for some of the members of the Big Wednesday(Andy M and Darren) get together last night as Liverpool lost a vital game to Besiktas(Big side in Turkey) in the Champions league to leave them bottom with only 1 point, they will now have to win their last 3 games just for a chance to qualify for the knock out stages. The mood was soon lifted when Phil produced 4 large Lasanga's brought from Jimmy Liddles for 7 1/2 p each.

Disaster in Russia
After all leaving work slightly early (except for Phil who could not drag himself away from his desk cos he so important) we rushed home to watch the big England match against Russia. After a great strike by Rooney all was looking good for England to qualify for the finals. Then in a mad 4 mins we through the game away with a doggy pen and some pants defending.
As soon as the game was over the Tv was switched off in disgust and some chilled out tunes were put on. Andy M was the guest chief and with the help of sous chef Joe they knocked together a lovely pasta bolognese.

Big Game Ahead
There could be some tears this Wednesday as Liverpool take on Barcelona in the Champions league. Shiney and Darren will be on the edge of their seats for the whole game, the rest of us as usual will be taking the piss. No plans as yet on the food but all can be assured that it will arrive earlier than at Phil's last week when he set the record for the latest food delivery at 22:00.
